The Divine Alphabet

In 1509, Luca Pacioli published De Divina Proportione, a Renaissance exploration of mathematics, proportion, geometry, and beauty. Among its remarkable pages is an alphabet constructed not simply by eye, but through circles, squares, diagonals, and carefully measured relationships.

The Divine Alphabet preserves these extraordinary letterforms with their construction geometry intact, revealing the hidden framework behind each finished character. The collection follows Pacioli’s historical alphabet rather than filling its missing letters with modern inventions.

More than five centuries later, the geometry remains strikingly modern.
